Was Jesus married?

For a man at his age at the time, it would have been quite strange had he not. Now i'm not saying that he did, but have you ever considered it?

Weren't several gospels voted out of the Bible compilation by one of the ecumenical councils because they spoke of Jesus' wife or family?

That would be news to me.

Jesus was a very special man. He knew why he came here and it wasn't to get married and raise a family.
There is no reason that Jesus couldn't have gotten married if he wanted to. There is just no reason, nor is there any credible record that I have ever seen attesting to his marriage.
I read the Davinci code and found it to be a very good story. However, I know enough of Christian theology to conclude the author was, IMHO, full of B.S.

I agree, for a man at His age at the time, it would have been quite strange had He not. I'm not saying that He did, either, although I think there's a fairly good possibility that He did.

The Devinci Code is also a work of fiction.
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=fiction - a definition of the word fiction, which I think everyone who complained about that book and took it to be literal should read.
I don't know if Jesus was married or not, but Im sure the idea crossed his mind.
