I am sure the guys have shown how they do things
There's been female leaders, you know. They're not much different from men when in power. I'm not sure why you think all men would be bad leaders and the same and that a woman would be better just because she's a woman. That's bigotry

Hysterical! He claims to be "walking away" from name calling (whoever heard Trump call anybody by a nasty name? would you like a list?), and "hate." You can look a thousand ways to Sunday and the very fountain of "hate" in the United States is decidedly red.

Even today, it's not the right that is being threatened by the bombs of hate, is it?

In a couple of days, when this WalkAway March is supposed to happen, that will reveal the real size of this movement.

It doesn't make sense that people can walk away from liberalism or conservatism. These affiliations run deeper than the political representatives that people choose to represent them.

The truth comes to those with patience...a couple of days and we will know the truth.

That would be good it the ultimate position would be "How can I love my neighbor better?"
I couldn't agree more. Frankly I don't know what might be the resolution to the hyper-partisan bias seen in the US these days. Honestly it seems things might be leading to all out civil war.

Soon as I saw the word "man" II thought, NO Way.

If I could pass a law of t he universe, like gravity or
something it would be, there will be no men as head
of state, anywhere on earth.

Even as a registered Republican I regard that as abhorrent behavior.
That’s a good start.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
If you are going to have another political party it should stand for something and not just be merely against the others.

Silly as your proposal will sound to most people, I've never heard of a real matriarchy that was warlike, or in which the people -- both men and women -- were notably unhappy.

I should have written it in a way better suited to being taken seriously.

I am serious, though, in my belief that men have
shown their way of doing head-of-state.

I think it would be a good bet, to have women running things.

Ordinarily, I'd say there aren't enough differences between the sexes to make that sort of assumption. But I've studied a few of the world's very few matriarchies. The people -- both men and women -- tend to be happy, and the matriarchies are not warlike. Make of that what you will.

I think that recent study "Hidden Tribes" show that there should be two new parties. The Democrats need to kick out the hardline progressives and the Republicans need to kick out the hardline conservatives (insert sad face here) in order to better represent the actual population.

The problem they have is that those two small percentage groups are also the most politically active and likely to vote.

I will check the news again tomorrow but it looks like the WalkAway March drew "several hundreds"...I haven't seen anything more specific than that. That was stated by The New York Post and Breitbart.

Hopefully the upwelling of women candidates for political office will help bring a more collaborative approach to politics.

Well, it was scheduled for the 27th.
Was it more like Million Man March, or did they all just get together for pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks?

I don't see any new indications that this march yielded as many as a 1000. Several hundreds is respectable but certainly belies any indication of a mass movement with any real momentum. I think this whole "meme" is wishful thinking.

A person's orientation toward liberalism or conservatism is based on psychological factors that are largely unconscious and then secondarily a product of one's upbringing. Certainly there are those who struggle either way with any discrepancies. These are probably counter-balanced more or less in the general population.

A leader who bases a movement only on wishful thinking is probably a leader destined only to rule fake news.
