What is the weather like in your area? In Seattle it's been in the 20's, 30's, 40's this week and sunny. We are supposed to get some snow this Friday.

Out here in the Midwestern part of the US (South Dakota) it is snowing! There is about......8 inches of snow outside right now, but it is still coming down. There is also a wind advisary. The temperature is about 20 degress F, which, is warm considering how cold it was a week ago. It is finally "warm enough" to snow the weather people are saying:bonk: .

Here on the Colorado Front Range, we got some snow last night, and today the temperature has dropped to below freezing. I've been trying to lure my neighbor's obnoxiously noisy dog outside in the hopes that he'll freeze to death, but he seems to sense my nefarious motives in offering to play "Eskimo" with him.

Below is the formula to convert a Celsius scale temperature into degrees on the Fahrenheit scale.

Tf = (9/5)*Tc+32; Tc = temperature in degrees Celsius, Tf = temperature in degrees Fahrenheit

Here in North Idaho where we have the best ski area's in the north west, we have about and inch or two of snow when we are supposed to have like 5 feet. In the middle of the day today it was about 10 degrees F.

Here in Elmira, New York we are having our first snow storm of the season. Normally, between December and January we have at least 4 storms or at least have constant snow on the ground. It figures that the first year I want a lot of snow we don't get it. The stupid thing is I have learned not to rely on weather forecasts. We have been told so many times since November that we would get at least 3" of snow and only once did we get 1 1/2". WE have had spring time temperatures.

Our local news says we are expecting 8" total and 1/4" of ice by Thursday night and next Wednesday we are supposed to be at 46 degrees Fahrenheit. The Weather Channel states the same 8" total but next Wednesday we are supposed to be 56 degrees Fahrenheit.

I just say "I'll believe it when I see it" anymore.

As of 9 AM we now having ice coming from the sky and it is darn cold. We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground. The roads started becoming icy last night around 8 PM. My brother in law normally takes a half hour to get home and it took him an hour and a half last night. So at 1:45 AM he walked in to let my husband and I know that he made it home and that the roads were real bad. My hubby left at around 2:30 AM to start his plowing and I could not fall back to sleep. Him and I have been awake now for about 9 hours with only 2 hours of sleep. I always have toruble sleeping when he is out plowing. And as you can tell my typing is getting wors4ee the longer I* am awake. Unfortunately, I will nto be able to take a nap unless either 1) my daughter takes one, or 2) someone comes by to give me a break so I can rest.

Back to topic... Our weather is supposed to clear up tomorrow.
