If the negative voices in this thread were around during WWII, the Nazis and Japan would rule the world now and I would have been murdered long since.

I stand with @Twilight Hue in this matter. Never give in to tyrants and bullies. All it does is embolden them to continue and expand their would-be empires.

It was true in 1776 and is still true today both at home defending democracy against those who would overthrow it and abroad where courageous people are trying to defend it.

I sure hope sodium-ion batteries durable enough to replace lithium-ion batteries can be developed soon in order to power all the electric vehicles we'd like for replacing millions of global warming internal combustion engine powered vehicles. Meanwhile, other than China, where else are we going to obtain the lithium and rare earth metals we need in order for us transitioning from using climate changing energy emitting catastrophic global warming gases to utilizing environmentally friendly renewable sources of energy?
