Correct me if I'm wrong here Wolf, but I think the biggest hurdle against humans getting angel-like wings is the fact that we are tetrapods, and changing that body-plan is no easy task. Sure, you can find pictures of animals with extra limbs but that is due to failed cell division and not a mutation that actually changes the overall body-plan. :magic:
In the case of animals losing limbs (such as whales) that is just due to those limbs becoming so degenerated that they eventually aren't there any more for practical purposes, but you can still see the vestigial remnants in their skeleton and during embryo development.
