Hyenas are not dogs. They are actually more closely related to cats. | The Retriever, Dog, & Wildlife Blog

Go into a pet store and ask for a dog, and if you are brought out a snake, would you accept the snake? Yes or no?

Nope. I wouldn't accept a wolf, a coyote, a hyena or any other similar animal either, so I guess they aren't in the "dog kind". The only species of animal I would accept if I asked for a dog at the pet store would be Canis lupus familiaris, which must mean that kind = species or sub-species.

So what was the point of you showing the picture?
To answer your question.

And as far as Im concerned, everyday discourse is all we need.
Of course you would say that since you like to make claims about academic fields you are largely ignorant of. Unfortunately, technical language exists for a reason, because it allows us to be precise. Imprecision may further your goals here, since you're essentially trying to obfuscate facts, but for those of us interested in finding the truth, linguistic precision is indispensable.

Call, a couple of day ago you asked someone to
...explain to me how can a dog that is alive today every get to the point of producing a non-dog. Explain to me how can that happen??

I will patiently wait.
I posted a very straightforward explanation of precisely how can that happen. Why am I not surprised that you have ignored it completely?
