I'll probably be here in RF. My landlady's planning on having people over so I'll probably spend the day hiding in my room or my workshop.
Had it already!
(You 'Mericans are too slow.)
I think I'll be on RF too -- at least for most of the day. Maybe we can spend the time making gobbling noises at posts we don't like -- just like last year!
I don't know Phil. almost sounds like a person would have to be drunk in order to do that.
I'm in!!!!!
You know, Rick, there's times I wished we lived close enough I could pop over to your place with a few cold beers in tow. This is one of those times.
Maybe one of these days Phil.
In the meantime I'm happy with just being able to run up a tab at the liquer store and charging it to your paypal account.
Yeah, I've been meaning to speak with you about that. Seems you've come up with an interesting definition of "RF Member Benefits".
Hey! What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year?
Going to my wife's Uncles house. He's assigned us what to bring. Normally I cook cajun smoked turkey. This year, I have to cook asparagus. I love asparagus and am good at grilling it, but I cook a mean cajun turkey and I love to cook it even though it takes around 4 to 5 hours to cook/smoke on the grille. Other than that, I'm gonna watch the Cowboys game. Go Cowboys .
I love asparagus! But I didn't know you can grill it.
Yep. What I do is marinate it in lemon juice and butter in aluminum foil. Sprinkle plenty of garlic salt, salt, and cracked pepper on the asparagus. Let it soak a little. The butter will start to solidify being in the aluminum foil. Once you see this, put them on skewers, and cook over low heat directly on the grill (not on aluminum foil unless you like the asparagus really moist/almost mushy). You have to watch it though, cause it can burn fast. Although I like it a little crispy .
