I'm grateful to know God. I'm grateful for my family. I'm grateful for my job. I'm grateful to have been able to own my house and get out of debt. I'm grateful for everything bad that has ever happened to me as it helps me to appreciate that which I have that is good. I'm grateful for every horrible thing that has ever happened in this world as it has helped me to appreciate the little good that remains in this world.

For some reason I always misread your username as "seafood" :D

The healing balm of reconciliation that can make a broken relationship more stronger than it was before the wound

Grateful for some people in my life who are not only helping me stay sober but also structuring my day into a day of using my time diligently serving others and being responsible. As much as i hate this, im grateful that they are also breaking me of my addiction to the internet....but that isn't pleasant...waaa :(

Oh and we showed up at papa murphys right before they closed and got lots of free pizza.

Also, so thankful for what a very special person said.

Today I found out I don't have gout.
Which also makes me grateful for the "ebul gub'mint commy" health care that allowed me to be seen by a doctor, have lab tests, and find out that it was nothing serious. Which I am also grateful for because this insurance, unlike two private insurances that refused, covered the knee surgery I needed. I went on a job yesterday, the air was just cool enough and not too cold, and it felt great. It was a feeling that I have not had for a few years, had been missing, and I'd forgotten how much I'd missed it.

Today I was angry at God and I opened up a Bible and the page I opened up to was Romans 13:8 "Owe nothing to anyone except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God's law."

It is so simple. If everyone did that we would have no poverty, no disease, no war, no crimes, no lies.
