What Are Your Hobbies?

Neo Deist

Just curious what everyone else does for fun? I am at home in nature and enjoy doing the following:

Camping
Hiking
White water rafting
Horseback riding
Mud riding (Arctic Cat ftw!)
Fishing
Sport shooting
Landscaping around my house
Star gazing with our telescopes

Indoors I tend to do these things:

Playing the drums (rock/metal)
Writing music
Watching Netflix, Hulu or Amazon
Watching Alabama football on game day
Reading a good sci-fi or fantasy book (love DragonLance)
Cooking and grilling
Listening to Classical/Baroque music while working on a novel/poem

Oh, and playing with Lego sets with my two boys! :)

My debating here is as close as I come to a hobby, most of the other things I enjoy doing I have found some way to make part of my professional endeavors.

here lately it's been just about only playing my guitar, with school heavily overlapping into my other hobby of drawing/art, and with the rest of school eating up a huge chunk of time with work eating up what's left. When I have a bit more time though, I do like to read, and play video games sometimes. I also like thinking.

Way to put me on the spot and reveal how much I have no life, dude. :p

Okay...

• Reading about languages, especially their grammar

• Listening to music (would also like to learn to play the piano at some point)

• Video gaming

• Writing poetry

• Debating religion, philosophy, and politics.

• Teaching; I enjoy teaching pretty much anything I'm good at. The feeling of successfully transferring knowledge to another person is phenomenal.

Those are the main ones. There are some insignificant ones, like typing (yes, I enjoy typing :p), but the above are the main ones.

You see, now I know we have very similar hobbies, except gaming - I've got ***** laptop. :p

I've posted a list of my hobbies before, so I won't repeat it.
But I did pick up a new one recently......
- Collecting antique ingots of babbitt & solder with company info & logos cast into them.

I hadn't intended to do this, but some fine examples have just fallen into my hands over the years.
Exciting, eh?
