what can a couple do that is really cheap or free?

Simple things..getting some nice ingredients and cook together with music..Maybe trying out a new recipe..something thats a challenge or just different..Then taking a bath together or shower..then.... :flirt:

At this particualr time of the year..treat your self to a starbucks or even a canister of hot cochoa(unless you live in a hot area..in that case brign ice water! LOL) and go admire the Christmas lights..

Also look for local events that are "free"..Like we took a day one time to go the Chinese festival at a local park here..It was AWESOME of course there are things to buy..but without spending anything it will be fun...and different..

As well as we went to the Greek festival..Located at a Greek Orthodox church(and the grounds surounding it)...It was truly an experience..And there were things to purchase including food..(AWESOME FOOD)..but you could again had a wonderful experience for free...(even though easily you could have both eaten for $10 a piece)...

Buddhist temple events???DITO...

Roller skating HA HA!!! ..You are never too old..(or you have to be very old or disabled)..and its not expensive(go to a rink..its worth it!)..And it brings back your youthful spirit..(at least for me it does)..great times toghether..!!

I think it pretty much boils down to embracing the opportunities in front of you when they are there..And just enjoying spending time together no matter what you are doing..And "seizing the moment"..

Another idea: many museums and art galleries (at least around here) will have either free or "pay what you can" admission one night a week.

Also as far as "games" I dont know about ya'll but I like playing darts..So get a decent dart board if you have an area of wall you don't mind ruining! And play darts at home..Or if not go to a cheap honkey tonk sports bar..put some money in the juke box..and PLAY DARTS!

Oh - I don't know if you can still do this without getting arrested; I haven't tried since 9-11... but parking at the end of an airport runway (legally - don't trespass or anything like that) and watching the planes whoosh overhead can be a neat experience.

If you've got a radio scanner that picks up air band transmissions, so much the better.

Also...you can get a baby monitor ya know?? And you can turn it on and catch aliens and ghost and stuff commincating on it..!

Not to mention "white noise"..turn the t.v on a channel that is nothing but snow ya know??? and you might see a ghost on that too..Its hours and hours of fun..

I have been around horses quite a bit..You dont rent them out for $10...
