What did Jesus look like?

Some say black, some say white. I believe that he looked something like this:

It's as good a guess as any.
In her 2018 book What Did Jesus Look Like?, Taylor used archaeological remains, historical texts and ancient Egyptian funerary art to conclude that, like most people in Judea and Egypt around the time, Jesus most likely had brown eyes, dark brown to black hair and olive-brown skin. He may have stood about 5-ft.-5-in. (166 cm) tall, the average man’s height at the time.

I'm going to go out on a limb and claim that he likely looked like some Jewish guy from the Levant.

Well,
Doing a Google image search for "Jesus" reveals that the only thing all the pictures have in common is a beard and mustache...

I don't know what he looked like, but as a kid, my piano teacher had a beautiful painting of him as a black man with medium length dredlocks. It was my most favorite picture of him ever... if I ever saw a copy, I'd buy it, despite not being a Christian. The artist had managed to capture so much emotion in his expression... So often in artwork, he looks kind of stoic... but in this one he looked as human as the next guy. It was one of the few pieces of Christian artwork I found emotionally stirring.

I assume that he is not only referring to the region, but is implying that Jesus looked like a modern day Ashkenazi Jew.
um...
why would you think that someone who lived like 2000 years ago would look like a "modern" anything?
