What did you eat New Years Day?

We had Keilbasa,Kraut,and Mashed Potatoes. This is a family favorite.

I ate a Tombstone pizza new years eve, while getting drunk on World of Warcraft. Went to sleep around 1230 since I had to be to work at 5 in the morning.

I don't remember. New years day meals are never very eventful in my house. Oh, wait. I had stew.

Traditionally where I live it's supposed to be pork and saurkraut,mashed potatoes and dumplings..It's supposed to have something to do with luck for the new year...well..we had a ham dinner with mashed potatoes and homemade noodles(pennsylvania dutch style of course)...lots of other stuff along side of that as well...I never believed in superstition (much):biglaugh:. Usually we have turkey and saurkraut...anyone ever done it that way? It's so good I was amazed. I was afraid to try it for so long but that is out typical New Years dinner.

i didn't eat new years day, well ...... i had a packet of crisps at about 5 in the morning before we left the pub ........ i drank a fair bit though :biglaugh:

I had some Boreal Blonde, some Rickard's Red, some screwdrivers, a couple of Labatt Blue's and more than a few Coors lights.

I didn't stop drinking long enough to eat. Started at 9pm New Year's Eve and finally put my last beer away at 11am New Years day. No sleep, no food, all alcohol. It was a pretty brutal night.
