Love for self, or selfish love, also results in negative pride and greed... in my view. :)

True

Short:
When I use capitalized "Love" or "Self", I mean "Love of the Divine"

Long:
Instead of writing it all out, I just say "Love" (capitalized). I rather avoid using "love" (de-capitalized), as to me it is sacred and special and better used for "Love of God/Self".
I hope this clarifies any confusion you had about what I mean with "Love" and "Self"

Love of Self, Divine Self, realizing our higher Self, realizing we are all "incarnations of Divinity", "children of God", is the solution to all problems

Identifying with "lower self", ego, body, mind, emotions, causes us to forget the above. Identifying with our innate Divinity, who we really are, is the solution

Ego-love: I rather use words as sex, infatuation, infidelity, adultery, passion, love 2 at the same time (sex with 2), hedonism etc.

Others easily say "I love you", and even use the sacred words "I promise till death do us part", just to hop onto the next one if troubles start, totally forgetting their promise (they even use the well known words "rebound love/sex" to be a good thing or "get back in the saddle" etc. Some even marry 7 times. This I call "ego love").

BUT

I don't judge others, I made my fair share of mistakes when young. I am glad though, that I was shown this truth by my Master, and have thought "I wish I knew it all before", but then I realize it's good to keep me humble and to not judge others
