What do you like better, toasters or microwaves?

I like toasters better for the way they cook food, but I like microwaves for a quick reheat. Toasters don't work for reheating liquids.

That depends. Reheating a cup of coffee? Always go with a microwave. Planning a suicide? Then you want a toaster.

Nothing is more embarrassing than sticking your head in a microwave for an hour and nothing happens.

Chuckle, reminds me of uni days. The thermostat didn't work on the oven so my method of testing the temperature was open the door and stick my head in to sense how hot it was.
I did get several odd comments such as "why bother, its not gas"

I would hate to try to roast a turkey that way.

For the Easiest Corn on the Cob, Microwave It

Cooking corn on the cob in the microwave couldn’t be easier. Microwave with the husks on for 4 minutes, then cut off the bottom, slip off the husks, and that’s it!

If only doing a few ears of corn it is faster, easier and so tasty. If you are doing a batch heat up that giant pot of water. But cooking them in the husk in the microwave is amazingly good. I found that out this summer.

If I am making toast, then a toaster. If I want popcorn, then a microwave oven.

I use my toaster oven more than the toaster or microwave.

Microwaved bagels = ew, why would you do that?

Toasted bagels = yum, crispy goodness
