What do you like more Laptops or personal computers ?Or both?

PCs, they tend to have more bang for the buck, are more stable with system heavy software, are easy to upgrade and can be repaired by even me.

The only drawback with PCs is they are a swine to fit in your suitcase when going abroad.

Though i usually use a phone or tablet for convenience .

I preferred PCs, as in tower units, some time back when the technology was changing so rapidly that it was easier to incorporate new units if one had a tower that could accommodate such things. These days, possibly most laptops don't even have a DVD/CD player/writer - which can be annoying. Also, given the room, most PCs are much easier to modify/repair/upgrade. But I have had laptops over the last several years, and which have behaved reasonably well.

People still have PCs in the home?

Yes. I guess I'm behind the times.

A desktop pc (both laptops and desktops are pc's btw :) ) is always going to give you more bang for the buck as opposed to a laptop.

Especially today, when apparently how thin a laptop is, is more important then the actual work it can do with decent performance, lol

I don't like working on laptops either due to ergonomics. I feel cramped on the keyboard and I hate trackpads.
So unless mobility is really imporant, I'll never choose a laptop over a desktop.

We have three laptops and three desktops. One laptop designated for the television; Hulu, Netflix, etc. one is my daughter's. My husband, myself and grandson have a desktop.
