What do you think is the most beautiful of machines?

I say the British Rail class 55 "Deltic" diesel electric locomotive

They operated express inter-city services between 1960 and 1980

I find them gorgeous to look at

They have mostly been scrapped but a handful have been preserved

I had many CT scans and "beautiful" is not a word I ever would've thought of to describe those machines.

All I've found is that these red lights keep moving back and forth. Aside from that, this thing seems to have no other function whatsoever.
