Despite him being a fascist Dictator, I admire the devout Catholic guy. He saved Spain from communism. The communists were cutting off priests hands so they couldn't say mass, and raping nuns, and committing all sorts of atrocities to force atheism down people's throats.

I think your description of a man who committed brutal mass-executions and tried suppress various ethnicities and cultures to be a "devout Catholic" might offend a few Catholics on these forums. Seriously, the institutional violence of the White Terror and Franco's reign was far more severe and murderous than what various leftists and republicans did.
