I really liked the first ones when it was more about aliens etc. It became a little too weird later on with just lots of random stuff.

And the reboot was unfortunately very bad :(

Also the movie was entertaining as well I think, nothing special but decent.

I found some of their "random" episodes to be the best.
The seriousness of the show made for several classics of
wry commedy, eg, "Jose Chung's Outer Space".
It even featured an unusual pairing of guest actors as the
Men in Black.

It also had some of the best horror ever on TV, eg,
"Squeeze", "Die Hand Die Verletzt", "Home".
That last one had both humor & horror...without
muddling them together.

I use to watch it all the time, I liked it, have not seen it in years, not since my divorce from my 1st wife, until last Tuesday, found myself watching again.

Great show. I wish I had appreciated it more in the '90s. One of my mom's favorite shows. I think it was at its best when it was a weekly creature feature sort of show. It got too weird when the alien baby angle was pushed. I lament the lack of quality sci-fi shows now. The '90s were the last gasp for that. I liked the first movie, too.

When I was a teenager I would always watch it with the lights off for added effect

Very scary!!

Especially that Tooms guy who could creep through narrow holes and made a nest out of human livers and newspapers
