Ahhh, exposing one's derriere to the public while high atop a ladder is a legal issue, particularly when children are present.

They are unenforceable because we have drafted laws that make domestic abuse illegal, but they are still there. But even the fact that we had to make a law that specifically says domestic abuse is illegal is a joke. That means that our society didn't extend to spouses laws that make physical assault illegal. So if someone beats a random person they encounter, that's assault, but if it's your spouse, carry on, her broken jaw is just a lover's spat. So at one time, it was illegal to spit on someone's shoes on the bus but it wasn't illegal to punch your wife in the face. What's really sad though, is that the change in domestic abuse laws didn't happen until the 90s in the US. So it isn't some antiquated idea from the 50s or 19th century. It was like 20 years ago.
