You nailed it ─ BS pure and unadulterated. So about a year ago my daughter told me the church her and my son-in-law go to teaches when it comes to family...
1. The husband comes first. What he says is law and should not be contested.
2. The wife comes second and should obey her husband.
3. Children come third
I said BS! You are equal to your husband and the children should come first. They didn't ask to be here, they look for guidance, for whats right and they learn by what they see/hear.
To anyone here, does your church teach children come third?
If so, why?
PS: I have no clue what church they go to .
Sounds like fringe Evangelical stuff. Most Christians don't believe such things. So about a year ago my daughter told me the church her and my son-in-law go to teaches when it comes to family...

Ergo, if Christ is God, He is His own head.1 Corinthians 11:3 (NIV) But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.''
any one stepping outside of this arrangement. humm, who would that be ?? would that be satan !? the similarity is uncannily similar
does the word ''head '' not fit into your description of head of a family. or does that imply someone thats a controller ,the one that the rest of the family answers to that bothers you?Ergo, if Christ is God, He is His own head.
Whatever head produced that, could not possibly have been the head of a woman.

Well, tell me. If God is the head of Christ, and Christ is God, then it flows immediately that God is His (or is it Their?) own head.does the word ''head '' not fit into your description of head of a family. or does that imply someone thats a controller ,the one that the rest of the family answers to that bothers you?
your math is wrong even contradictory . Jesus is not God . the bible says many times that he is the Son of God. a subordinateWell, tell me. If God is the head of Christ, and Christ is God, then it flows immediately that God is His (or is it Their?) own head.
If that makes sense to you, be my guest.

My Church teaches that everyone is a Child of God. There should be no hierarchy or power struggle. Jesus made himself servant under everyone even though he was God. There are specific roles that we need to help each other with and a leader and teacher is one of them for protection and for guidance, but that doesn't mean what you say goes. It means what you say is to protect your family from sin and danger. This role is given but is not limited to men for many reasons. Biologically we have to support the opposite sex. As to age, we have to teach love to our children as we would want growing up ourselves. This is the way.So about a year ago my daughter told me the church her and my son-in-law go to teaches when it comes to family...

This is exactly what my religion teaches.1. The husband comes first. What he says is law and should not be contested.
2. The wife comes second and should obey her husband.
3. Children come third
This is exactly what my religion teaches.
A pair I knew had the perfect solution: he decided everything important, she decided what was important.Sorry but its BS!
Children should come first and be priority.
After all they didn't ask to be here.
As far as the husband and wife, they should be equals, not he is better or comes first.
this is the problem since 1980's parents becoming the slaves of their children. bending over backwards to please them resulting in moral devastation in the west/chrstendomSo about a year ago my daughter told me the church her and my son-in-law go to teaches when it comes to family...
