Booko

Deviled Hen
I type fast, but not so fast that I'd like to do an inventory as large as what we have.

I have a few of the things you have.

Some other things off the top of my head:

Beatles -- pretty much everything
Gentle Giant
Peter Gabriel
Eno
Some Tull
Dire Straits
Eagles (also Henley's "hits" cd)
Jackson Browne
Steeleye Span (everything I can get hold of)
Too many Irish dance CDs (daughter does ceili)
Cherish the Ladies
Traditional Persian and Japanese music
Miles Davis
Akiyoshi "Tanuki's Night Out"
Talking Heads (everything)
B-52s (everything)
The Who
Pink Floyd
Depeche Mode
UB-40
Yes (before they went "commercial")
George Benson "White Rabbit"
PDQ Bach
Spike Jones
Glenn Miller "Greatest Hits"
var. Canadian Brass
Dave Brubeck
Couple of Stone's cds

Hm...the "classical" collection...geesh, I'd die of old age typing that up. Everything from medieval to modern. Light on the Romantics, except for Brahms. NO MAHLER!

I'm missing so much stuff it ain't even funny.

Oh, it was a long time ago. She was one of many guest artists invited to a gigantic outdoor concert that Pink Floyd (I think some members may have been missing by then) did between the walls of east and west Germany soon after they "fell". It was a huge and ridiculously grandiose spectacle but Sinead showed up and did her part, and she was actually pretty good. I forget now, what Floyd tune she sang, "Mother" maybe. Anyway, the sound system was messed up and mostly nobody could hear her, and later on Roger Waters wanted her to come back and do it again for a recording, and as I understand it she was a bit ticked off about the whole thing and told him to stick it, or something there abouts. And she refused to re-record it.

Sinead is a hot-head, and God bless her! *smile*

Wow! All those records and we only had one in common. But it was the Godfather of Soul himself ... James Brown.
