Proofs will suffice too!

Well mainly the ideas of an eternal spirit and soul!
Also a cosmic consciousness!

And defeaters of any and every God in general!

That's quite ambitious for one thread. Might I suggest you stick to one idea you want to explore, and create separate threads for others? The conversation will be more manageable and less prone to endless rabbit trails that way. They're bad enough when threads start off with a specific topic, let alone something so broad!

That sounds like a television reality detective show. I have never come across sources I would trust on that issue.

Basically I would have to see a ghost myself to believe it. The Ouija board though is kind of spooky.

My reason for trusting that ghosts may exist is this:

The amount of claims of such encounters is vast. Though that doesn't prove, in some cases it can make for a solid abductive reasoning argument, which doesn't lead to the strongest arguing, but still makes a case.

That, and other reasons.

The plane in which we exist seems to attract mostly negative spirits. Neutral if lucky. But I'd say one can attempt to channel good energies through prayer and working toward that positive connection with the universe. It's a goal in some New Age groups.

My guess is yes!

And if there is a spiritual realm, those would definetly be targets for those appearances.

I have felt presences before. I attribute those experiences to memories of old feelings I have had.

It is very hard to bring ghosts to the light of objective fact.

I am sure that if someone Said, yes i seen ghosts, the first questions from a sceptic would be. Prove it. But if you did actually catch the ghost on any media, video, still photos and so. The first comment would be. Oh that could be faked on digital media.
So i am sure many people have their experience, but they keep silent, because they are afraid of beings riddiculed by sceptic.

Well my reason for my OP is to reverse field inquiry from religious scrutiny, to see if non believers will put themselves out there as to why they refute religion in general.

Religious experiences are personal as well. I don't think I would share such things either.

I do have experiences, and I do feel that way. I feel like sharing my stories kind of wears against my credibility. If we were to compare my credibility to a leash, I feel like the more I talk about it, the shorter I make my own rope.

Honestly i think i stopped caring if someone tell me that without a proof to them, it must be a lie or just imagination.

I imagine you have some great stories. Not exactly sure the world is ready for them any more than mine. My stories get a little crazy and apparently I learned the explanation for that was I'm not so much in tune with the world but was more an extraterrestrial spirit in a distant past life. These people, starseeds, are very much in tune with the spirit world. It's not even uncommon for the universe to kind of have spiritual fights over them I think, wanting them to use these abilities for good or evil and trying to kind of guide their actions toward that.

I'm inclined to find other reasons for the religious experiences I do have.

I'm not inclined to argue against someone who has convictions based on religious experiences.

Now if someone was trying to force their convictions on me, I would adamantly oppose them.

That's where objectivity rules the day for me.

And I think with objectivity, and some self searching discovery there are universal truthes that reasonable people can accept.

My stories get a little crazy and apparently I learned the explanation for that was I'm not so much in tune with the world but was more an extraterrestrial spirit in a distant past life. These people, starseeds, are very much in tune with the spirit world. Yes i do have experience with a few ghosts especially with a ghost of a little girl, she followed me for about a week. I did never feel any hate or anger from her. But a playful soul and a curious little spirit she was.
