What Explains U.S. Mass Shootings? International Comparisons Suggest an Answer

International studies pretty conclusively demonstrate that the sheer availability of guns is the decisive difference between the US and other nations in which mass shootings are significantly less frequent. Reduce the number of guns, reduce the number of mass shootings. It's that's obvious.

Forgive me if someone already stated this but, ahem.

Terrible people cause mass shootings. Unless guns gave become self aware recently and able to act on their own? Anyone?

Does that mean it's ok to have more guns than we have men women and children, overkill much? It is really hard to justify such excessiveness short of "well sometimes they need to kill each other". Do we need that many guns for sports or deer meat?

As I stated in previous post, what business is it of yours how many firearms a person owns as long as they are legally owned.
How many firearms do you consider excessive for a household to own?
The majority of firearm owners that have a "large" collection keep them in a secure location.
I know that if I owned numerous firearms that cost over $500 each I would insure that I had a safe or safes to store them in.
Actually if I had more that say 5 handguns, 4 rifles, and 4 shotguns I would keep some of them in a large safe. I wish I did, I just can't afford them.
