What Happens When We Die?

You ask, does God hate atheists.

Let's see, if someone came cursing and slandering and denying you, would you love them ?
Let's say, your out and someone came up to you and cursing you and putting their fist in your face, you would throw your arms around them loving them, all the while their beating you with their fist and cursing you ?

And you ask, does God hate Atheists ?

What's up with all that Go Figure ?
God IS love. You compare him to men.

If someone strikes your face you hate them? Better read some more to get the truth.

Just admit it. YOU hate atheists.

1 John:
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

The lake of fire, isn't symbolic, it's more real than anything. If you understand things about a lakes.
Think of a lake, how the water moves across, some waves get pertty big not to big, as these waves moves across the lake, So does the lake of fire moves across the land in like manner, destroying anything and everything that has sin and evil in it's path.
But what is this lake of fire ?
In the book of Hebrews 12:29 tells us that God is a consuming fire.

The fire that comes from God will be like a huge Lake of fire moving across the earth and the heavens above. That there shall be no escape.

I can almost hear you smiling when you say that.

I agree with most of what you said, but what will not happen is we will not be consciously suffering for eternity

I just got to thinking, what exactly happens to us after we die? I don't mean our bodies. What I mean is, what happens to our "soul" after we die? Do you think it goes to Heaven or Hell? Do you think it gets reincarnated until we achieve Nirvana? Or do you think nothing happens? Or something else? Please put what you think below and possibly an explanation if you feel motivated enough to do so. Thank you!
I think that the only time you get these answers is after you are dead. And I mean dead dead. Not simple cardiac arrest with resuscitation; but really, really dead. Rigor mortis, body at a cool room temperature, early decomposition setting in dead.
I think that anyone telling you otherwise is just telling you their sincere hopes, delusional thinking, or is outright lying to you.

I believe this, since there is not one verified account of someone coming back from decomposed corpse to alive and well, in all of human history (as well as the history of any other organism that we’re aware of). There are stories, and religious writings, and other myths.....but nothing solid and verifiable.

When the Egyptian mummies arise, call me. We’ll do an interview.

well most people say christian, but majority of "christian" religions believe in eternal torment that is why I asked

I know, that's all because those Christians don't have a clue what the Bible will say, only what their Pastor's, Preachers tell them, that also shows that their Pastor's, Preachers don't have a clue either what the Bible Confirm's.

To even think that Christ would have people to be tortured for eternity.
I would really like to come across one of those Christians that believe that Non-sense.

My first question to them would be, You as a Christian, believe that Christ came into this world, gave his life for sinners, but yet you as a Christian believe Christ would torture those sinners that he gave his life for, toture them for eternity. Now why would Christ need to give his life for the sinners, if all Christ is going to do is toture them in the end. Why instead of giving his life for the sinners, just do it without giving his life.which would make more sense, than it would to give his life for sinners, just to toture them eternity.
Christ came here and gave his life to save them, Christ didn't give his life for the sinners, just to toture the sinners for eternity.

Do you believe in a future paradise earth?
Do you believe Christians should get involved in politics?

Sorry for the questions, I appreciate when I run into bible readers

Seeing how the founding fathers were religious, What do you think.
There's nothing wrong in Christians getting involved in politics, seeing how the founding fathers were religious.

First people would have to show as to where it is written in the bible where God or Christ forbids his people getting involved in politics.
Yes I know, render unto Caesar what is Caesar's.ok
So when you have a Christian as President, then render unto Christian what is Christian?

Well I believe we are to respect the superior authorities unless in conflict with gods laws
Acts 5:28-29.
Jesus preached about gods kingdom (government) and said it was no part of this world
John 18:36
this kingdom would destroy these governments or kingdoms
Daniel 2:44
we are ambassadors for Christ kingdom
2 Corinthians 5:20
Now the question is since we are substituting for Christs kingdom would he be involved in politics? what did he do when they tried to make him king? Which kingdom do we show loyalty to?
John 6:15
Jesus is waiting for his kingdom to act and so are we awaiting his kingdom to take over.
Daniel 2:44
Also do not forget that this good news of the "kingdom" will be preached in all the earth before the end comes
Matthew 24:14
Babylon the great Who is she? And how did she commit fornication with the kings of the earth?
I believe it is the religious empire of false religion that has mixed in with the kings of the earth

You think? Obviously, you believe Mormons have some kind of supernatural power that they don't even claim.
Christian denominations that believe in salvation for non-Christians :)
Seventh Day Adventists believe that non Christians can get into Heaven

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (LDS Church) or Mormonism, teaches that those who die without knowledge of LDS theology will have the opportunity to receive a knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ in the spirit world.

Done. Thanks. :)
It's the constant screeching from those sparrows that are still screeching !
would love to hear sparrows screech. The unfortunate part is that Delhi city has lost all its sparrows for various reasons (modern housing styles, proliferation of Wi-fi towers, etc.). My younger grandson will not know what a sparrow is.

When?

No one actually knows, but that won't stop most of them from peddling their brand of certainty.
It doesn't really matter as what is important is what is happening, here, now.:sunglasses:

My Canadian 2¢?

Yes, you do continue, though, to be fair, your concept of "you" will likely undergo some pretty radical expansions. Not to worry though as "you" won't mind a bit. Plus god, as imagined by the worlds religions, simply does not exist and evil is just a mix of bad fiction and sloppy psychology.
