Yes, i knew him some time ago, he owned a car wash that i used now and again. Didn't realise who it was until after it closed down. Just a guy to chat with while his crew did the valeting

I thought that later, at the time he was the friendly car wash owner. Nice guy, not full of himself as so many famous people are

Yeah he’s very down to earth. He is the Laird of McManus (I think) and takes the welfare of his people very seriously.
He also has always done the accounting for Tull. He watches every penny.

Jethro Tull was the first international gig I ever went to, when I was 15.
The Laird has the mojo...

Interesting, tull was not the last but one of the last major gigs i went to at the Apollo in Manchester featuring Lucia Micarelli.
