The fact that humans 2000 years on are still just as terrible as they have ever been, do you think this could have swayed Jesus' to really question his fathers motives?

I think humans still haven't learnt much in general, murder, rape etc
What I am actually asking is if Jesus had seen the future as it is now, knowing that his message had not had the impact he would have thought it would, might he have not gone through with what he had to?
I hope this helps.

I think (IMO) that Jesus would be totally 'unfazed'; man is man - with all the choices before him; nature itself is the driving force behind most of man's deep desires; I think that what Jesus hoped for was that we would read his teaching, and DO OUR best to follow them. I can't imagine that he expected anyone to 'pass' with 100%!
I think, there again, that the vast majority of people are trying to 'do good', and to follow his teachings; mugging a little old lady makes for much better press than a tramp sharing his last piece of bread with another.........
