You might try to but there is a good chance you'd just make them worse. The ability to exert power isn't nearly as important as the knowledge of when and where you should.

Im sitting in the shade of the courtyard, fully relaxed after lunch on another hot day. What I'd use telekinesis for is to lift a can of iced tea from the fridge, open it, pour it into a glass, drop a couple of ice cubes into it and deliver it to my hand or I'll just expend the effort l, get up and get it myself.
