What is a good way to honor a deceased friend?

There are many ways to honor someone. If he had a specific charity or volunteer work he did you could step up in his absence or donate in his name. You could plant a tree in his name and leave a little plaque. You could set up a fund in his name to go towards a cause close to his heart. Do something for his loved ones he always wished he could do. I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Thank you. I will give that some thought.

Tell the world about him. Do good works in his name. If he has a legacy of some sort, you could choose to continue it.

Most importantly, never forget him.

It's good to know in such a situation that our loving Heavenly Father understands us when we are abandoned to grief. You can pray to God for strength to cope- Philipians 4:6, 7

These were my thoughts. I'm very sorry for your loss.
Was there a charity he was fond of, a school or anything like that? Like if he enjoyed reading, donate books to a local school in his honor or enjoyed the outdoors, plant a tree with a plaque or donate a bench, etc.
