You may have religious prohibitions on consuming information, but it was on the topic you introduced.

You don’t want to know what people think.

I borrow from the mathematical concept of “extrema”, which include “maximas” and “minimas”.

But it’s not the hill that I want to die on if the physicists disagree. I’ve got plenty of much more important beefs with the physicists.

So for me, it’s just a question of priorities.

I prefer to pick and choose my battles.

I’ve grown quite accustomed to living in a world of non-mathematicians, so I don’t expect everybody to adopt my terminology.
