Okay, now I am curious. What do you call mustard and what do you call mustard sauce?I like both, but I prefer a good mustard to mustard sauce (what we'd call the stuff in post #3)
Hot dogs are pretty sorry today. Decent sausages avoid the name "hot dog" because of that loss of quality. I am old enough to remember hot dogs made with natural casings (pig small intestines for the curious). A "kosher hot dog" to me is a bit of an oxymoron. To me a "real hot dog" are the old fashioned sort. They could be all beef, except for the casing, and it would be possible to make them out of goat or sheep intestine, but I do believe that those are not kosher either. The intestines, not the goat or sheep. So to be kosher a hot dog has to have an artificial casing.Hot dogs are rather gross in taste & consistency.
Mustard mitigates that. Ketchup doesn't.
Okay, that's it. Time him to a stake, Let's have a barbecue!!Mayonnaise
