What is Beyond the intellectual horizon.

I was at the beach watching the clouds emerge. Science says they emerge randomly others say a great mind like ours but bigger is the causality. I am not sure but I think they are nuts. Based on this photo I would say emperically a dragon is over the horizon and the clouds are dragon smoke. Here is the irony. I shrink the intellectual horizon and the intellect will automatically not recognize itself for what it is. The only thing larger than the cosmos is the ego, or, so it "believes", and then argues with itself which as to which of its fantasies are correct.

The ego is not just singular it is also a multiplicity. And it can form into a singularity and that singularity is the many into one. No longer grounded In Nature it seeks to destroy and create a new world in its image. When the cross becomes crooked the crooked, "believe".

Sometimes I understand what you're saying, sometimes not. This time not. Can you dumb it down for me?
I understand that part and it's not my intent to be obtuse. It's why I have retreated into music. It actually embraces obtuse and works at different levels all at the same time.

Hildegard von Bingen said "we cannot live in an interpreted world for an interpreted world is not home".

That apparently is competely obtuse it was written in the 13th century and it barely rings a bell, even inside catholicism. Although, she recently became a Saint so some bells are ringing how ever quietly.

Not all of religion is nutty but it certainly can get nutty Intellectually. I like this quote from fr. Thomas Berry. Its understanding something that isn't clear today. Articulating upon this is not easy so forgive me if I dont write with good clarity. He also said the old narrative is broken and we await a new narrative. But the new narrative never develops independent from the past. It only develops an illusion intellectually that it is separate from the past over time is all. In Christianity we have the cross and we have the nicene creed. The creed is intellectual irrelevant nonsense cut and paste, the cross is profound.

Funny, I can agree with Berry’s words, but probably not what he meant. I find myself in that situation quite a lot. Sometimes I just don’t bother to explain the difference.

Yes, I believe the universe is subjective, yes, the subjects have voices, but I would say they constitute a unity of existence. That unity could appear to be a profoundly related community. Unity might be somewhat less profound.

As for broken and new narrative, that seems like the new wine in old bottles thing. We’ve actually been given a new narrative, but it’s sometimes really hard to understand.

As for von Bingen, again, yes and no. We live in God. We like our games and interpretations, but we don’t live in them. Sometimes we strike a clear chord and it’s quite illuminating. Other times we just play.

Well we are all different and yet similar at times. A bit like music, different genres can emerge out of the same instruments. I think the acoustic guitar is a perfect fit for me I grew up in the wood shop. Just down the road grows myrtle wood and Port Orford cedar. A nice local guitar can be made.although my Taylor is sitka spruce and and sapele which is an imported wood. But this is the land of sitka spruce so I love that.

The beauty of an acoustic guitar is has an Infinite set of notes its wood, the wood is dead, and it can be brought to acoustic life sonically and it speaks. A Kind of a sonic dance between the living and the dead on an Infinite spectrum.

Ego's adjust according to knowing what preceded before them don't they ?

You know, I can walk on water is some ego, so knowing that we can't walk on water prevents us from having such ego.
Now if Mr Hitler had presented some evidence of his ideas, then maybe there would of been no war. You know, peace is bliss you must agree.

I think if you find where the music is, you'll find how we are one. Else, how could we all hear it?
