What is it a RELIGION?? Do you know?? (Explanation)

Part 1:
Do you know what is it a religion?? Why a human need a religion? And what is it give him??

The religion it's just a tool that came thousands of years ago in only one order;
Satisfy the needs of the person!!

Already on the the ancient past; people was needed to feel that a God\s which is\are responsible for everything and can do everything, with world domination and that they can go to him\them in bad times and ask for help... of causing it, the people would pray, sacrifice and make Ritual of any kind to satisfy the God\s! !

This thought gave to the person a feeling of confidence: there is a God\s that he can trust him/them to protect him and look after him, and his needs!

It's just a tool! But an important tool! A person needs faith because there are situations that only the faith can help and nothing else! And I think it's much better to live life with a faith! No matter what faith, one God, many gods, sculpture, and even a glass or a tree, if it satisfy you it's really doesn't matter!!

I want to create a debate so please express your opinion about it!

I tend to think of a "religion" as a codification of doctrine, most often with explicit information concerning the "God" or "Power" incorporated within its structure.

I think perhaps, many religions rely more upon concepts rather than awareness. JMO

Religion is an attempt to explain things that are unexplainable. Opportunistic people have taken the results of that attempt and corrupted it into a method of population control.

It's a regurgitating lockness monster story to lump all things religious as lacking any logic, reason, or evidence of any kind. Religion is complex and whatever faith is extended does not eliminate reason but builds upon it. For some poeple it might be a tool to satisfy and for others not so much. I'm not religious because of what it brings me, but because I believe it to be true regardless of what it brings me. In this sense, I have immense respect toward atheist and agnostics that lean toward humanism. They do it because it's the right thing to do, it's that simple.

Religion is more global I think and has to do with the spiritual nature of humanity.. It is not a mere "tool" though some may try to exploit it and use it for their own advantage.

Religion is also spiritual education and nutrition for the soul
