No matter what religion we are, we are all seeking something. What is it that we seek? Do the followers of most religions seek the same things?

Can't think of anything in particular. I like comfort, but I don't feel that I am searching or striving for it. Just trying to follow the Dao takes care of most things. Knowledge, especially linguistic, ranks high, but I don't sacrifice comfort for it.
