What is more scary?Having your house haunted by a poltergeist?Or being abducted by aliens?I would think being haunted.

Being abducted onto a spaceship of aliens that is haunted by a poltergeist.
What is more scary?Having your house haunted by a poltergeist?Or being abducted by aliens?I would think being haunted.
Being abducted. I am more and more of the opinions that aliens and UFO-expectancy is just demonic activity, considering that the area these things are seen in is the area of demons. Poltergeist might just be someone from purgatory trying to get attention, which I'd just pray for them and have some Masses said.

I would say being abducted. Poltergeists would only anger me, I just know it. I'd be cursing them, calling them cowards, and demanding they come out and face me. If they didn't then they would only further prove their cowardice, and I would constantly be talking about it, to them and to anyone else who would listen. Try to find out who they were in their original lives and ruin their name as well as I was able. Besides that, I would be constantly recording their antics and putting it up on YouTube anyway, hoping to trend and make some ad revenue.
Aliens, however - you have absolutely no idea what their intentions might be - especially if they don't speak your language and you can't speak theirs. Obviously, if they only abducted me so that I could teach them human card games or show them how to throw together a few human recipes, that'd be one thing. I'd likely just go with the abduction in that case.

Interesting. I am inclined to believe the latter (i.e., in my own way, as someone from the realm of the dead, Pretaloka, trying to get attention) but do you not believe in life on other planets? Not a debate question, just curious to here your viewpoint.

I believe in both aliens and poltergeists.But think a ghost would be more scary then an alien.
Aliens most definitely, ive never heard of a poltergeist doing anal probing.

Not scared of aliens, if they are so advanced as to be able to surmount the speed of light barrier. They would only be here for a very good reason. And that would not include terrorising little me.
It also would tell me that if they have done it, then it is scientifically possible for us to find out how to do it too. Which would be very good news.

I think life on planets is definitely possible, even life like humans (that is a rational being with a spirit, soul, and body), but UFO stuff doesn't seem to be that from what I've seen of it, but even mirrors accounts of things considered demonic by Saints and so on.
Thirteen posts in, and nobody's mentioned the scariest thing of all -- humans!
Heaven knows, in Belfast in Northern Ireland, everybody is terrified of large, threatening bands of 1 or 2 Catholics! And the very existence of a member of Falun Gong can shake the confidence of the entire population of China!
Oh, and for old ladies, I completely forgot to mention teenagers. Eek!
Ghosts and aliens don't even begin to compete in what scares us most.

I worship a Lucifer. I'd rather deal with a fallen angel or a demon. They ain't hurt me. Poltergeists neither. Nor have aliens. Angels scare me more then demons as do the fae but I'd rather deal with all the above then fight a human. None of the above has ever hurt me and I know how to deal with each except aliens they have set mythology. Humans on the other have hurt me. Many times. Humans are scary ********
My only question is, "why worship anybody/anything?" What does groveling before notional but unconvincing deities give you?
For myself, at my age, groveling on my knees just hurts to much, so the gods can just ... well you know, the naughty phrase.

you have such a poor view of what I mean by worship. I don't grovel before anyone least of all Lucifer. I just honor my gods. Nothing else and only outta respect. I might ask for something every now and then but Ray don't beg. If I truly want something I do it myself if it's within my capabilities. Mostly I just talk to them like I would a friend and give offerings. I expect nothing from them. If they wish to help me fine I'll accept it.
Aliens for sure. I wouldn't want to be abducted, unless it was for peaceable contact, as opposed to say medical experimentation.
