What is the purpose of life?

The wisdom is found when we look for it within all that happens to us, both the good and bad.

All this world is connected to the mind of man, there is no seperation of mind and nature. We have to find a balance, that is humanity as a whole. The balance for man is virtues.

Regards Tony

Some wisdom is found there.

Yes of course: life goes on.
But that is an interesting point. Which leads to another question. Is there a Creator? Not that I can understand everything, but the idea that genes (combined) in the sense of humans and other species passes on life tells me there must be a Creator. The order of the passage of life simply could not happen by itself, meaning without a disciplinary force.

Sure life could go on without a creator, casualty is that disciplinary force.

I see no fundamental purpose in life. If I'm honest, I can be rather nihilistic at times. Though from the lack of anything, I see the opportunity to create something greater. I don't have a reason to want to strive for something, but the alternative is nothing and therefore, I take it upon myself to use my limited time to live my own best possible life.
Few of us are happy all the time, that's for sure. A large % of humans are on some medication to help them mentally. To conceive of being happy all the time is a thought worth pondering. But then we would have to consider what type of life would make us happy.

Not sure what you mean by that. It is complicated, but not so much. For instance, a leaf is complicated when analyzed. The basic structure, or ability to continue, simply cannot just have come about without a creator or designer. Not for each object, but for the initial form. Including the opportunity to reproduce.

Ok, when you say "the ability to continue" do you mean the leaf an't fall then disintegrate? What do you mean by "initial form"?

I mean that according to the Bible, God created the first human couple. They had children.

Before the beginning:

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was with God in the beginning.
All things were created through Him,
and apart from Him not one thing was created
that has been created.

So IN THE BEGGING _WAS_ the word. Meaning, the word pre-existed creation.

So, then it goes on to talk about how God said, “Let there be light,”.

SO, did the trinity/the Logos exist in human form before creation, seems that way to me.

Yes there is a Creator and Preserver God but He works through Nature.

The Word or Logos refers to the preincarnate Jesus. John 1:14>

Yes; evolution of living things as well as evolution of Brahman (the total energy of the universe).
So who made nature? Another way of asking is, was a creator involved in the initial figures? It's hard to phrase. In other words, was the primordial soup made, or just there without someone placing it there? Or was more involved with the various forms.

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women!

Oh wait.. that is what is best in life.
