There are actually people named Sandy and harry butts.

I had a counselor once with the last name Siemen, pronounced the same as "semen".

What weird or amusing last names have you heard? Please don't use Google, that is cheating.

In Medieval England, there were some surnames that I couldn't actually type here, as they involve certain anatomical references that the board software would block!

When I worked for Shell there was an entry in the company phone book for a Dutchman called P W Ankers.

And when I was a kid it was a time-honoured schoolboy prank in England to look up people called Smellie in the phone book and then ring them from a callbox, asking "Are you smelly?" and then hang up, arf arf.

The Russians have some crazy names. Imagine saying your average American trying to say "Lagshmivara".

I once got a resume from a fellow called... I'm not kidding.... Lovelace Doodoo (he was from South Africa). We discussed calling him in for an appointment simply to recommend that he go for a name change.

I'll stick to basketball players. Plenty of material there.

World B. Free is hard to top.
Sure, he changed his name to that (from Lloyd Bernard Free) but still.

God Shammgod.
Rueben Boumtje-Boumtje (pronounced boom-shay boom-shay)
God's Gift Achiuwa
Exree Hipp
Dominitrix Johnson
Sir'Dominic Pointer

And no, I'm not making these up. I could post another hundred without breaking a sweat.
