So, what is the weirdest/ most exotic food(s) you've ever eaten? Don't worry if you think what you've eaten is embarassing to tell, i'm sure mine are worse off. Well, list away!

One time I ate a squirrel I had hunted. I was practicing my knife throwing and got hungry. Apparently, a small knife will decapitate a rodent and even remove some back fur.

Poor little meal, tasted sorta like beef, but more bitter.

Not that exotic but...
armadillo
possum
raccoon (never again)
Moccasin
Gator
Cooter
Apple Snails (never again)
lizards
Iguana eggs (yum!)
Fried grasshoppers.

Anyone tried Indian bitter gourds? They're really vile (not sure of the Indian name), but probably the most exotic thing I've tried is durian fruit. That's even worse. I was told that it smells bad but tastes lovely. No. It tastes exactly as it smells - like a cross between sweaty feet and raw sewage - but sweet!

I hadn't even thought about plants:

Heart of Palm
Arrow root
Wild Orange (think a cross between a lemon and an orange)
Fern curls
Sea weed
water cress (I think it's that... it came out of a lake)
Pine needle tea (never again)
Sassafras root tea
Wild rhubarb pie (not to be confused with BeeBop-a-ReeBop Rhubarb pie)

I ate shark one time, Mako shark I think it was (Though I can't actually remember). I'm not sure if thats legal, but it was on the menu, so I assume it is, or at least was. It was really good, with a nice sauce and rice, sauteed greens. I don't know if it can be compared to a properly made jambalaya, but its certainly up there!

Well I can't say that it was weird or exotic, but while in Egypt I was served dinner. When my plate was put in front of me, I thought to myself, " Oh how nice, little game hens"! Well when I took a closer look I realized that the head of this little bird was still on and presented directly at me! I guess as an American eater, I have only been exposed to the bird without the head, I've almost become conditioned to think that birds don't have heads and eyes and beaks. Good gracious!!!! Well I turned my plate away from me to take the horror from my view, and began to eat from the rear of the bird. This action was definately noticed at the table and I was worried that I might offend my host. For the most part, everyone laughed at my surprise. I must say, for the first time in my life, I didn't eat the whole thing. There is something very disconcerting at having the thing you are eating, look back at you!!!

Monkey , yeah , had that when I was in Panama from a street vendor (I was kind of drunk). Then I got food poisoning from the seafood in a fancy resteraunt called La Cascada. There was a cascada coming out of me.:(

exotic foods? Well I seen a kid get tricked into eating dog s***. Sounds crude..Its true and he liked it until he found out. As for myself, I cant think of anything on par with the rest of the posts, allthough im sure I had something strange before.

Ive eaten some type of shark, Gator Jerky, Turtle, and goat meat tacos.
I know some one who ate a combination of: Vanilla ice cream, chocolate milk, peaches, salad, gravy, nacho cheese sauce, and ranch dressing. He claimed it was good, but I have my doubts.
