What is wrong with those people who listen to music?

Actually, isolation from music healed me. I used to be a musician myself. So, if it can heal me, it can heal you.

What ailment did you suffer from that 'isolation from music' healed you from? As for it 'healing me' I'm not suffering from any malady that requires healing. And what type of music did you play as a musician that was affecting you negatively? Why does it upset you so much that other people can find joy in their lives through music? Is it jealousy because you have no joy in your life?

Are those people depressed or something? Why do they need to find joy in their lives through music? I think music will only make it worst. Music will make your life joyful for a short run but for the long run it will only make it worst.

There is music and sound that promotes relaxation and calmness . . .
From what I read, this has been scientifically proven to be the most relaxing piece ever.

One of us sure does.
Yeah, well, one of us has a lifestyle that is one big list of "THOU SHALL NOT'S". I'm no expert, but that might be a major source of your apparent dissatisfaction with the world around you. Life wasn't meant to be restricted so much.

It's his religion, they've brainwashed him into believing music leads to uncontrollable behavior. Only vocal based praise music is allowed.

Why question and fear everything? Enjoy your life and indulge in it all.

That is a different topic entirely than "everything in this world is evil, avoid it all or suffer god's non-descript-yet-oddly-specific wrath."

Fear? I am confident enough to let go of music. Are you confident enough to live your life without music?

I wasn't kidding about the guitar string thing. When one snaps when I'm playing, I literally feel an emotional sting. It also does actually help me sleep, especially the bass-heavy fast-tempo of darkwave music, giving my mind something to focus on rather than the million other thoughts.

Just like cigarettes and alcohol. They both heal you for a short run, but keep consuming them will only make it worst for the long run.
Music is nothing like nicotine and alcohol addiction, where are you getting this misinformation from? How does nicotine or alcohol heal you and from what?
