What is wrong with those people who give statue a soda? Maybe they are trying to get rich. Don't you think so? Are they looking for a shortcut? Easy way out? Steroids? Lottery ticket?

We aren't, we're not, no I don't, we aren't, we aren't, what the $#@% do steroids have to do with
anything, and no.

Some people worship corn,

I don't worship "corn," I worship Corn (proper case), aka Corn Spirit. There's a difference there, but I would hardly expect you to understand given your track record in this thread.

Maybe because it makes them rich.

It really, really doesn't. Seriously, where the $#@% did you get this idea from?

I already got my answers. And the last answer the guy blew it, not only did he expose the real answer but he exposed him self. You can close this topic if you want.

Oh, something was exposed in this thread all right, and it certainly wasn't me. I look forward to your next troll thread. I'll probably report that one.

Listen Jainarayan, this topic was dying in the middle of second page, then some one brought it up started to talk about zombies coming back to life 3000 years later to kill 1 million people, and then I was labeled as a troll. Don't you think that talking about zombies is trolling?

I can't believe it took this many pages.

What's the significance of that one, @JayaBholenath ? It reminds me a bit of how the Shinto of Japan decorate sacred trees with rope and strips of white paper or cloth.

Vanakkam !

It is not asian, it is pagan ! It's one of the many holy wells you can find around, I think this one is somewhere in the UK ... ?

The tradition of tying pieces of cloth or embedding money/offerings in sacred trees is still very much alive in Europe in old villages

Does anyone has any idea what OP is talking about tho ?

Oh ! I thought he was angry because of narrow minded people belitteling and getting obsessed with what others people and cultures do.

Eh, everybody needs a hobby. It reminds me of the tabloids full of celebrity gossip - apparently some people just really love following the lives of total strangers to judge and criticize them. Reasons why I never, ever wanted to become a celebrity...lol. :D

Those who decry sarcasm have obviously felt it's sharp sting.
Lol this is the equivalent of your schoolyard mate retorting with "shut up" because they know they've already lost the argument.

I went to the dentist today, and she was experienced dentist I could tell. She numbed me so hard, it gave me sharp quick pinches to my tongue right away like I have never felt before, It did numb me good though and the numb lasted for 5 hours instead of 2 (like the other other dentist). But what I'm trying to say is that almost everything that she tolled me was sarcastic. For example: "You look like you are so exited to be here!!!!" " I know you want to stay here!!!" " I know you want to come back!!!!"

Don't you think those sarcastic people need to learn how to communicate because they are afraid to directly ask what they want?

Sarcasm is just a differing form of communication. For those people who can read body language, pick up on subtle tones and inflections, it can be a friendly and humourous way to communicate. Quite enjoyable. But it takes a certain skill to do it effectively. It also doesn't work at all with certain types of people. If there is a learning disability, ranges of autism like Asperger's syndrome, or language barriers, it doesn't work. Sheldon, on Big Bang Theory, is a current example of types of people it wouldn't work for ... clearly.

Sarcasm is utilizing the various advantages of language. Don't blame the tools when you're not a master craftsman.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Woe to the person who gives a speech to people and lies to make them laugh. Woe to him, woe to him.”
