What is your highest level of education? And in what department? If you don't mind sharing, of course.

I haven't gone beyond high school.

Sorry to our non American friends if the poll isn't relevant to you, idk how it works elsewhere

I have a bachelor's degree in engineering.

(Plus a few grad courses over the years, but not enough all together for a Masters)

Bachelor software engineering.

At least, I think that's the American equivalent.

The plan was to continue for a masters degree, but this was smack in the middle of early 2000's when there was and extreme shortage of software engineers and IT people in general. It was soooooo easy to get nice paying jobs with company car and I didn't want to miss that momentum I guess.

Lawyers don't receive a "doctors degree".
I don't think doctors do either.

My history professor has a PhD in American Comics so underwater basketweaving is not such a strange qualification

It's not as easy as it might sound.

"Juris Doctor" is the standard legal degree here.
(There are other "Doctor of Law" degrees.)
"Medical Doctor" is one degree offered here at UofM.
