I did a search for my husband and my biuological father and each of them had my Real name of Brandy in either a name or the location. How ironic is that???

Yeah, I've seen this website around. Good fun, it's one of the better ones. I always have this terrible urge to actually translate people's names into Elvish when someone brings it up, though...one of those strange side effects of being a Tolkien fanatic, I guess. Learn Elvish and you just have nothing to do with it, normally :p

** DISCLAIMER ** : These name generators produce random results and are not true translations of the words you type in. They are meant for entertainment purposes only. -- Considering how many languages are spoken by our visitors and how many names there are in the world, creating a program that can translate your real name would be an immense task and, in the end, would likely not be accurate since all of Tolkien's languages are incomplete. Additionally, most people have their names because their parents liked the sound of it or they had a relative with a similar name, not because of any ancient meaning. Still, we hope you enjoy our Name Generators and have fun with them!

"These name generators produce random results and are not true translations of the words you type in."

All that means is that it's not really translating your name into Elvish, or any other Tolkein language. Every time I've put my full name in today, I've come out with the above results. If it were a truly 'random' generator, I'd get a different result every time.
