I voted LHP(even though Paganwould have work for me also ^_^). The Left Hand Path usually seems to play a larger rule with me then Paganism does(yet I am loved and welcomed in both group :D)

Is there any way for people who have voted in a poll to change their choice - several people have had to settle for a choice they did not prefer because I was somewhat lax when devising the poll options, and I have managed to get these options put in (thanks again, Circle_One).

It was pretty hard for me to decide between "Own Religious Beliefs" or "LHP".

I went with LHP though because under that general umbrella you find things like..
Chaos Magick, Setianism, Discordianism...
which are all "Own Religious Beliefs" categories with their own asthetic.
Expeimental, symbolic, humorous, irreverent, reverent, Self empowering.
There is no "right way" of "doing" them. Only Your Way. ;)
I also love the goth and darker veneer the LHP asthetic often carries with it.
Diva witches stirring up a brew... vampiric beauties.... :flirt:
The practice of magick (transformation through suspension of disbelief and use of symbolism)
is a very real and deeply satisfying art for me.
The halloween asthetic is just fun. :witch: :D
(though it also, is often part of the symbolic art for me)

I chose Christianity, although I'm fairly certain many other Christians would not have classified me so. :)

It is really a question of what you believe, not what others think.

Anyway, most of the posters on here know that LDS is another branch of Christianity.

I live by ideals found in the satanic bible. It works for me. However, atheist is also appropriate since i have no belief in Gods.

It's now blatantly obvious to me that I needed to allow people to make multiple selections. It is something to consider next time.

Could one of the friendly moderators please put Deism up?

What does deism mean to you, Tumbleweed?

The Deist looks at the natural world and infers that this could not have been an accident. Admittedly, we also desire a sense of astonishment and connection to something greater than ourselves and define that “something” as God. Deists also believe that Reason is one our most important gifts and that we should use our own Reason to develop our beliefs regarding God.

And so we look at God using the Natural Laws that we learn more about as science progresses.

I probably haven't had enough coffee today to be called "friendly" yet, but Deism is now in the poll.

Not really. We can change the vote totals for each option, but we can't move a user from one option to another.

What difference do you see between "atheist" and "agnostic atheist"?

I'm not sure anymore, that's why I just put athiest on my religion here. By their actual definition, I would call an agnostic athiest one who's open to the concept of spirituality provided it precludes any god(s). But the way people use athiest and agnostic today seems different from their definition. Like when people ask the question "Why do athiests come to a religious forum?" as if not believing in a god means you cannot be part of a religion, as if there were not religions without gods.

No, that just means that the person is so cloistered they think that religion starts and ends with the traditional Abrahamic religions.

Easy question - what is your religious affiliation?

Please note that votes are visible.
Gosh, no separate category for Mormonism apart from Christianity. Was that a Freudian slip or should I frubal you?

Mormons are Christians. Or do you think that there should be a separate category?

EDIT: What a silly question - should you frubal me? Of course. :D
You would know I was ill if I said no. Or that I had secretly been abducted and replaced with an identical double.

I vote none.

edit: But if my fellow atheists want me to pad the atheist vote I might consider it.

Certain donations must be made first.
