I am afraid the list is a bit naive. It wishes to change the very nature of people and retroactively so for at least the last 150 years. My apologies, for the first gun not to have been created we have to go back to at least 1290 c.e.. It would of course also throw us back from a technological standpoint. War is the great inspiration for invention. Without it, or the means to wage it in the manner to which it has been waged, the US would not be. Israel would not be a country today. (Created after and as a direct result of WW2.) Medicine would be far from the science it is today without the advances that were a side effect of several wars. I could go on, but I would say it would be an interesting world to see. A world so foreign to us today as to be alien.
(Still not sure how this falls under religious topics/comparative religions though.)
