Whatever you make it to be. We have not had a purpose given to us. We have to figure out what that is.

It all depends how one looks at it.
Since you are on a religious forum I assume that God figures in your life. HE has a plan for mankind if you are prepared to accept it. If not then your life will end ....whenever , no guarantees , no guidance , no protection. :help:

Yes or you could go with the purpose Beta is offering you, submission to a god who demands your loyalty and that you follow his purpose. No reasons as to why, just blindly accept it. I'm so glad my gods don't think blind acceptance a virtue.

Many Creatures are born before their sight becomes fully developed.
Accepting God in faith does not mean man remains in a state of blindness - not at all ! On the contrary - faith is the beginning of spiritual sight and vision not given to unbelievers. It is they who remain spiritually blind and miss out on furthering their future potential Mat.16v26 .

From the Baha'i scriptures:

"29. O SON OF BOUNTY!
"Out of the wastes of nothingness, with the clay of My command I made thee to appear, and have ordained for thy training every atom in existence the essence of all created things. Thus, ere thou didst issue from thy mother's womb, I destined for thee two founts of gleaming milk, eyes to watch over thee, and hearts to love thee. Out of My loving-kindness, 'neath the shade of My mercy I nurtured thee, and guarded thee by the essence of My grace and favour. And My purpose in all this was that thou mightest attain My everlasting dominion and become worthy of My invisible bestowals."

―The Hidden Words, Part Two, #29

"CIX All men have been created to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. The Almighty beareth Me witness: To act like the beasts of the field is unworthy of man. Those virtues that befit his dignity are forbearance, mercy, compassion and loving-kindness towards all the peoples and kindreds of the earth. Say: O friends! Drink your fill from this crystal stream that floweth through the heavenly grace of Him Who is the Lord of Names. Let others partake of its waters in My name, that the leaders of men in every land may fully recognize the purpose for which the Eternal Truth hath been revealed, and the reason for which they themselves have been created."

―Gleanings, p. 215

Best! :)

noh950;2357693,
God had been alone for untold eons, then He decided to create intelligent beings in order to bestow on them blessings as fathers do today.
The very first person that God created was His Onlybegotten son, who was later, on earth, called Jesus. Jesus was called God's only begotten son because when He created Jesus, He did it when completely alone, and with no helper. The Bible tells us that after Jesus was created, God used him to create all other things on earth and in heaven, John 1:3, Col 1:16. Here Jesus is called The Word. Also at John 1:14, Rev 19:13.
It is interesting to read how God had His writers explain Jesus' role in the creation at Prov 8:22-31. The Almighty God, whose proper name is Jehovah, is the only person who can actually create something from nothing, Omnific, so Jesus used the material that God created to make, first millions of angels, then the heavenly bodies we see and much more we cannot see.
After many of the angels were created they learned about God's purpose to create living, intelligent, fleshly being on earth, so when the earth was formed and started to be prepared for man, the Bible tells us that the angels all sang out with praise to Jehovah, Job 38:7.
Even though God is completely selfsufficient and needs no one, He decided to create many intelligent living beings so that He could give them the pleasure of life and could enjoy their activities, and give them many blessings that we cannot even think of, 1Cor 2:9. Isn't that what any loving Father wants for his chlidren???
Of course God did not mean for His children to suffer death. Mankind rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden, so God allowed man to go his way, to find out for themselvfes that they cannot rule themselves, Jere 10:23. God sent His son to reconcile all people who love Him and His son, to Himself, Col 1:19-23.
God gave mankind a limited amount of time to search for their maker, that time is almost over!!! We will all be judged by what is written in the Holy Scriptures, Rom 3:5,6.

how he has had a son?.
I am immensely disappointed by the apparent lack of thought behind this question.

He's God, the creator of the whole universe! (Or close enough) Creating one extra object to specification should be a trivial task for such a being!

" Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 KJV

I think what he's saying is that if you believe this being can create everything out of nothing, creating a son in the womb of a human female should be a simple task. Better yet, I have a better one. Can Allah create a rock so heavy he can't lift it?

Hi! From the beginning it was God’s purpose for a perfect human family to dwell on earth forever in a paradise. (Genesis 1:28)
And it is still his purpose! Without fail, that purpose will be fulfilled. The Bible states: “Jehovah of armies has sworn, saying: ‘Surely just as I have figured, so it must occur; and just as I have counseled, that is what will come true.’” “I have even spoken it; I shall also bring it in. I have formed it, I shall also do it.”—Isaiah 14:24; 46:11.
