What was the CoVid 19 - Hydroxychloroquine Study ?

So the consensus is that Hydroxychloriquine does more harm than good:

Was it a French study or Chinese study saying Hydroxychloroquine saved Coronavirus patients ?
Which study suggested adding Aziithromycin ?
Didn't both the control group AND the Hydroxychloriquine group have other drugs as well ?
Why not just give a lower dose of Hydroxychloriquine to prevent deaths ?

There have been a few studies now--some of them ended suddenly--because chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine have some potentially nasty side effects, and in these studies the drugs were found to increse the mortality rate of covid. Its not a matter of reducing the dosage, as that would reduce drug effectiveness, but it's useless for covid and people who need it want their supply of it back.

The evidence is that it does not work.

What did the original study say ?

You are hitting around what I think the problem really is: studies get released and the media pounce on them before the peer review process gets a crack at them. So the perception is created that 'the science' has settled the issue. Then when peer review finds flaws and refutes the study, people think science is bogus and can't be trusted.

This is a review of the early works...

Here is a small French study from earlier to the above review...

Here is an article reviewing 2 early studies conducted in China....
Chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in the treatment of COVID-19 with or without diabetes: A systematic search and a narrative review with a special reference to India and other developing countries
The reference section of this article holds multiple studies that may be of interest to you (see ref. # 18).

Science involves learning. Original studies can either be proven or disproven by subsequent studies.
Yes, from what I understand the original French work was not a properly randomised trial and was carried out by someone with a reputation for self-promotion. It has not be corroborated by later, more carefully done studies, apparently.

Because it's really not about that. It's about control.

It's about controlling drug prices and it's about controlling people.

So I was watching this video, and they talked about how Trump doesn't wear masks (of course he doesn't), but what they don't tell you is that the media does the same thing when most of the cameras are off.

And alot of other stuff, that you may of may not agree with, but let's focus on the one point. Fact checking whether the media actually believes in what they are selling, and wear masks like they demand of all of us plebes.

("Including the Cameraman...")

(Most camera shut off, look at the brunette reporter)

And apparently this woman who spent much of her time tweeting about who was/wasn't wearing a mask ripped hers off when she thought nobody was looking.
"In response, Collins pointed to the death toll from the coronavirus and how Trump is instead tweeting about her."
Pay no attention to the woman behind the curtain! Instead look at all these numbers!

Here's some numbers too. But numbers don't mean anything, because people can make them up on the spot.
275 970 4371 7887 781 125
"But but numbers are important when there's graphs!" Yeah, uhhh in a science fair when I forgot to make any graphs, I drew one on the spot. After this, I stopped believing in graphs either. It was about like this.

You're being fearmongered, people! Stop buying the hype.

And stop allowing masks to be forced in restaurants and stores. This allows two sets of standards to prevail, one for media and celebrities which push this mask farce that makes little kids think they will die if they drop their mask (see first video), while reporters shamelessly mislead us.
