What will the return of Jesus really Change?

The best way to find out what we [Christian] believe will happen when Jesus returns is to study the faith. The answer would be too drawn out if I answer and I might start preaching, which wouldn't do.

Jesus will not return as his mission in the world is completed. He is part of the Angelic Assembly that watches over the well-being and development of this world and other worlds.

Given that IOV the Return already happened about a century and a half ago, MANY things have changed since then, yes!

Peace :)

Will anything change in the World?

"But you who suffer tribulation will be given relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels *in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance on those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. *These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength." (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9)

Will you be on the jury or just be celebrating the judicial punishments?

I think if that was possible it would make the world more of a bad place, we would be dictated by this stranger, this goodie two shoes , NA, it would be a horrible place to be, with all the Christians sucking up to him.

I claim it will never happen and that statement was born within mythology alone.

Every single person who has claimed he will come back, all have one thing in common. Every single one of them was wrong.

The human race have been involved in an object lesson that has endured for thousands of earth years. We seem to forget that an eternal God does not operate in earth years, but as it says in the Bible, "a thousand years is as one day" to God.

Every couple of thousand years, (or every couple of days from God's perspective) something amazing happens. There was the creation of man, after that, a global flood that served as a future example, (Matt 24:37-39) Then there was the appearance of Jesus Christ as Messiah, where he tried to set the Jews straight and soon now will be time for him to come again, as promised. This time it will be to clean away the rot and start again with a completely new system of things. It's all designed to go full circle.
What man lost at the beginning, Christ came to give back to us. The next major event will affect the whole planet, not just a small part of the Middle East.

God's rulership that was established in Eden, will be brought back to his earth and he will reward those who read and followed his instructions and did not lose faith in him.

Paradise lost...paradise regained.

What will change? EVERYTHING. It can't be wrong if it's yet to happen.

You cannot state this with any credibility what so ever.

We seem to forget that an eternal God does not operate in earth years, but as it says in the Bible, "a thousand years is as one day" to God.

The bible contradicts itself.

It also states a 24 hour day is exactly that.

Every couple of thousand years, (or every couple of days from God's perspective) something amazing happens

Of course you have no credible evidence for such.

There was the creation of man,

So far its pretty much factual man has evolved.

. after that, a global flood that served as a future example,

According to most every credible scientist, there never was a global flood.

Most historians claim these flood myths the Israelites used were taken from the mesopotamian cultures, who factually wrote a about a river flood that later turned into a seal deluge.

(Matt 24:37-39) Then there was the appearance of Jesus Christ as Messiah, where he tried to set the Jews straight and soon now will be time for him to come again, as promised.

He was a Jew. he was not setting Jews straight. The later authors who were Hellenistic Proselytes and gentiles were trying to distance themselves from Judaism.

That wasnt the case for a Galilean Jew sticking up for jews.

This time it will be to clean away the rot and start again with a completely new system of things. It's all designed to go full circle.

Every claim like this and there have been thousands, have one thing in common. Every single one has been proven wrong in time.

And Rods of Iron will be given instead to those who obey the commandments of God.

I dont think Jesus will be handing over his authority to any of mankind. And as a woman im very thankful for that considering some people believe women are defiled creatures.

The scriptures tell us that he comes with his 'angels' to execute judgement...not with anyone from among sinful mankind.

Matthew 13:41*The Son of man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out from his kingdom all things that cause stumbling and persons who are doing lawlessness

They wont judge according to the way imperfect man does.

Revelation 2:26: “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations.

I'll bet those who keep the commandments are gonna have a great time slapping some doers of lawlessness around with those rods of iron.

2:27
Those people will rule the nations with iron scepters and shatter them like pottery.

Oh, that sounds like a lot of fun!

The scriptures kind of directly call promiscuous women defiled. So I don't see what your problem is. A pure woman who stays virgin until marriage is not defiled. Her menstrual blood may be defiling to those who touch it however. You may want to brush up on your basic conversation-interpretation skills before you consider trying to interpret translations of ancient languages, because of course you weren't deliberately twisting what I said.

As for the Angels, he is referring to the upcoming destruction of Jerusalem and Temple and how the Angels will decide who lives and who dies at the judgment of that age. It has nothing to do with the human governance.

It also says that the glory of a King is to winnow out the Wicked. Somehow God decided this no longer applies?
