Sleep......or watch TV while surfing & posting in front of a warm fire.
Life can get no better than that.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
We'll have our fire going and our two big dogs at our feet. Maybe my husband will shake up a couple of KGBs (Kahlua, Grand Marnier, and Baileys). We'll probably be up watching Netflix movies, but switch it over to the Times Square hoopla about 11:55 pm. At the stroke of midnight, we'll kiss each other, and then I always go out on the front porch and holler "Yeeeeeehawwwwww!!!" into the cold night air (at the top of a hill, we also have a good view of local fireworks).

Then it's off to bed. Tomorrow for lunch or dinner we'll have black eyed peas alongside our ham - supposedly it brings good luck. So far it has, even when we forgot to fix the black eyed peas! (We believe in making our own luck.)

My big plan for this year is QUITTING MY JOB in March. Yes, I will be joining the ranks of the unemployed if all goes as planned. I am going back to school as well as focusing on my art - photography, writing, and interior design - and if I make some money off of it, great, but if not - I'll just do some volunteer work and call it all good.

Hopefully this will be a great year!

Well, I'm packed and ready to take off on 3 Jan to Israel and India for a couple of months. I have no idea what I am going to do for the other 10 months.

I'm going to go to my girlfriend's work, spend her break with her to welcome the New Year, and then come home to drink, smoke and either play Skyrim or watch Netflix.

I also got a shot-sized bottle of some white cake flavored vodka to try. I don't normally drink or even like vodka, but such a flavor has me very curious.

I'm not a fan of vodka. Grey Goose is ok, but eh.

I prefer rum and coke, or red wine. Sometimes light beer.

Usually I fall asleep, like any other night. January 1 comes every year with or without me.

I just rang in the New year with my kids. (Turk is at work) They got to stay up, I poured them juice and I had a wine cooler. We watched a little tv right before midnight and at midnight we toasted with juices and wine cooler, yelled "happy new year", drank, and then gave kisses all around. We then proceeded to have a little dance party in the livingroom until about 12:30, at which time they went to bed all tuckered out.

We called the parents of my friend in Korea who committed suicide and said some condolences.

Then, we had some family gathering, (me,my gf and our parents) just a simple one. I burnt barbecues. Literally. I was like a kid shouting "Mom help me!" My gf and mom are worried and ask me if there's something wrong and hurriedly go outside our house where I'm cooking bbq. They looked worried. I cracked their mood when I said "I don't know how to cook bbq's." :D When I tasted it, I was like "OMG, tastes like shhh...." But yeah, thanks to that, mom and I are okay now.:p
