Once this Covid thing is subdued, and you feel safe to do the things you used to do, what is the first thing that comes to mind, in celebration.
Boss and I will head out on a 10 day road trip to somewhere.

Hope it's not me, cause I ain't a hugger. I like Covid for that, but maybe you could make a big sign. "Covid is over, will you hug me?"Hug some random ( hopefully friendly ) person.
Mask, or masks? I'll appreciate seeing smiles, rather than guessing if the smile is even there. It's weird telling a joke or being friendly, but not seeing the smile. Yes sometimes you can see it in the eyes, but that's too much effort.Burn my mask.
Yes, it'll vary on the degree of lockdown. Here we have no personal services. Maybe I'll book a massage or get the long overdue tattoo. I really want to spend some money and help those sorts of businesses rebound. Going out too.Nothing much would change. I used to go out of town when I went to school, but have no need to. We don't have a stay at home order in VA as I found out in CA-pretty strict one. I wouldn't wear masks anymore but I don't think that would change anytime soon. I don't care for virtual church services at the UU church I used to go to but don't know if I'm going back since it's been about a year. I'm not really a long term social person unless I known you doing my school days. I'm a touchy feely person so meeting people I know and hugging them won't feel weird given the other person's awkwardness during this time period. But I'd find it weird people go back to what they did before after COVID. Viruses doesn't disappear so I think people would, at the most, continue wearing their masks. But for me, nothing would change really.

I've never had a facial either. God knows I need face improvement. I've never had a massage either. Physio, sure, acupuncture, sure. That's a great idea. A lot of services have been cut here. I haven't got a facial before so I think I'll try that. Pamper myself while working on my fitness and diet.
As far as smiles go, I am pleasantly surprised by how well a smile can be read in the eyes.
We (Alberta, Canada) get compared to you guys. Our vaccine program starts next week. We're in deep here, too little too late. Not to sound smug, but restrictions have largely eased where I live.
Booked a Thailand trip just before COVID kicked in. Only just got back my refund a couple weeks ago. Darned insurance.
So I would like to travel overseas but I’m also still scarred lol
Actually, my lover and I had tickets to the whole season at Canada's Stratford Festival -- a couple of thousand bucks -- and saw nothing at all. No idea how all that is going to be sorted out (I know Stratford is hoping we'll donate some of that, at least, to their coming back expenses, and we will for sure, but not all of it).Concerts, and live theater for me - last summer just wasn't the same.
