Once this Covid thing is subdued, and you feel safe to do the things you used to do, what is the first thing that comes to mind, in celebration.
Boss and I will head out on a 10 day road trip to somewhere.
I never did anything much different, so I won't be looking forward to anything. :(
I am lucky if I can get my husband out of the house for grocery shopping.

There will be no road trips for us unless we have to go over to the coast and see what my non-paying tenant is doing, although I cannot wait till Covid is over to do that. He is now in deep debt and in deep trouble if he does not pay.

Which way to the woods?
Fortunately enough has been learned that many outdoor facilities, dog parks for one, are still open and we can take walks so get some relief.
That's great. I think a lot of people have been able to find relief in the parks. And some new adventures have been discovered by people who normally wouldn't have gotten out in nature.

We started walking in the woods in our city about 3 months back, once a week. Amazing places I never knew existed. We plan to keep doing that after Covid. The city has a central valley with many ravines running into it, and almost all of them are treed, with trails. In the middle of the city it feels like you're not in the city.
I guess you are trying to make me jealous. :D
I could leave my husband behind with the cats.

Sounds like the Valley park in Edmonton. It's a great trail system. I am so impressed with the park system there and often think our cities here should look to Edmonton to plan and implement city parks and trails. Glad you discovered it.

It really is going to be a big celebration when we are all safe from this thing.

Make a trip out to Glenwood Springs, CO to spend 3 days swimming here, where I was one year ago:

Sounds romantic ... even after 50 years, lol. We want to do Ireland. Does hubby drive in Italy? Some of those coastal drives look gorgeous.
He has driven in France and Monte Carlo before, but never in Italy, and I think this time, we'll do all our traveling between cities by train. We did take a 30-day road trip through England, Scotland and Wales back in 2015. Now that was a trip! "Wrong" side of the road, steering wheel on the "wrong" side of the car. We're getting to be too old for that kind of adventure. Hope you end up getting to see Ireland. It's beautiful.

10 day meet-up with friends, role playing, cinema, restaurants and cafés, singing, etc. But as we are still young and mostly not essential workers, we won't get vaccinated before summer.

I'd really like to get a haircut. Between back problems and the virus my barber has closed up shop.

Wow, that is just breathtaking, the water with snow-covered mountains in the background, almost looks unreal, like a fairy tale. :)
It was wonderful. The water is 96 degrees, and the air was temp was in around 35 degrees that day. The other end is where the hottest part is at 104 degrees. The big pool is 450 feet long and about 80 feet wide, the hot end is about 100 feet long and just as wide. I spent about 6 to 8 hours each day there over 3 days and 3 nights. It was truly healing.
