What would you do
With a pure silver coin?

Would you hide it in a bank?
Throw it against a tank?
Give it up in thanks?
Offer it to Tom Hanks?
Send it to a Yank?
Trade it for a franc?

What would you do
With a pure silver coin?

I have a few silver coins, but i do not think any of them are Pure most are stirling standard which is ....good... I have a half dollar but I do not know what standard they used.
pure silver anything would be rare and over subject to wear.

what do I do with them? Nothing at all.......they just sit there getting slightly more valuable every day.

I bought several when the price was $8.
Now they are worth $24.

The only reason to have them is the printed value and knowing they are made of 99% silver.

Older coins in circulation are not always pure.
The common dollar of the seventies was made to endure wear and tear.
The silver content is about 75%

So do you keep them for the element?
Or keep them for the dollar value?

I think they might hold value better than paper money.
Should the economy fail dollar values won't mean much.

The stamped coin will then make a comeback.....at higher values.
The savy among us will note the dated stamp.

I have a Franklin half-dollar, it isn't 100% silver or anything, but it is a higher percentage than what they have nowadays. It's worth about $2.00 or so. ;)

Go to the House of Black and White in Braavos, present my coin and say 'Valar Morgulis'

Oh wait, that was an iron coin
